Since our establishment in 2011, North East Learning Trust has seen consistent growth. We are now expanding our central support team to strengthen our partnerships and include more schools. As part of this exciting growth, we've implemented a cutting-edge, fully integrated Payroll and HR system. This innovative system offers self-service access for over 1,200 employees and centralised payroll for all trust schools.
We are looking to appoint a self-motivated and enthusiastic Payroll Assistant to join our dedicated Head Office Finance team. This post is crucial in supporting the Payroll Manager with the daily operations, processing and administration of our payroll system, accurately processing payroll and pension changes and maintaining related systems.

The successful candidate will:
• Have previous experience of working in a payroll environment, with sound knowledge of payroll processes and excellent IT skills.
• Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Be an excellent communicator and enjoys a varied role, supporting multiple stakeholders across payroll, pensions, and HR/Payroll systems.
• Have a flexible approach to work.
