We are seeking to appoint, as soon as possible, a highly skilled flautist, who is a committed, passionate and enthusiastic Flute Teacher to teach across all areas of the school from age 4 to 18. The teacher will deliver lessons that are fun, engaging and inspiring.
The Music Department is a dynamic force with a diverse and vibrant programme of performance opportunities. This role is for those with 1:1 instrumental teaching experience of flute. This post will require the successful candidate to deliver 30 minute flute lessons to students.
The working hours are approximately 2.5 hours per week of 1:1 teaching, but in the hope that this will increase. The candidate can offer an ensemble per week of 30 minutes if they would like to. Pupils will generally expect a lesson once a week during term-time: this results in approximately 30 lessons during the year. There is no provision for lessons outside of school term.
Instrumental Staff are self-employed, and invoice parents of pupils direct. Fees are determined by the school: currently £18 per half-hour lesson.
