Personal Assistant to Headteacher and Governor Support
37 hours per week. Term time only + 3 days (39 weeks)
Salary Scale: Scale grade 8 point 22-27 NJC. £29,439 – £33,820, pro-rata
Due to the retirement of our long-standing PA, we are looking for a committed, organised and enthusiastic person to join our team.
The role will include confidential clerical support to the headteacher, senior leadership team and governors as well as liaising with parents, governors, staff and external agencies, assisting with school events such as open evening and celebration evening, note taking at meetings and organisation of paperwork.
You will require excellent ICT, literacy and communication skills for this role and strong experience of clerical work in the same or similar role.
In addition, you will line manage the reception area and staff to ensure that the first impressions of the school are positive for visitors.
The role is varied and will require you to be flexible, resourceful and use your own initiative.
The hours will usually be as follows (with some flexibility):
8.00am – 6.00pm Monday
8.30am – 4.00pm Tuesday, Wednesday.
9.00 – 3.30pm Thursday.
8.30am – 3:30pm Friday
