Bickley Park School is seeking to recruit a Premises & Caretaking Operative to play a key role in the effective management, maintenance, and upkeep of the school site and to ensure a safe, clean, comfortable, and compliant environment for all staff, pupils, and visitors.
The role is full-time working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, exact hours to be discussed and agreed with The Estates Manager, to meet the needs of the School (the school site is typically open between 7.00am and 7.00pm).There will occasionally be some additional out of hours work (evenings/weekends) with an allowance paid. Start and finish times will be discussed and agreed at interview.
Previous experience in a premises maintenance or facilities management role, preferably in a school, education or leisure establishment would be beneficial. Candidates will also need to possess a clean driving licence. Further details including the responsibilities and skills for the role can be found in the job description.
