Aspirations Academies Trust is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, proactive and determined individual to work as Premises Site Manager. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the premises remain in an excellent condition and supports the Academy in providing a building fit for outstanding teaching and learning which is a safe, yet a welcoming environment that students and staff alike can be proud of.
The successful candidate must be a skilled individual and able to maintain the highest standards of repair, security and cleanliness of the school. Working under the direction of the Regional Facilities Manager and SLT team, you will need to ensure that the school’s buildings, site, and furnishings are safe, secure, and maintained to Health and Safety standards as defined by the Academy and Health & Safety legislation.
As a Premises Site Manager you will also need to ensure the opening and closing of the school building so you must be flexible as hours could change to accommodate the needs of the school. Plus evening lettings may require support.
This position will be based at Banbury Aspirations Campus, (Wykham Park & Futures Institute), however, you may be required to support at either of the 2 Trust primary schools in Banbury.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who has a minimum of 2 years’ experience of general maintenance of buildings / site, basic DIY/handyman, repair and decorating experience, cleaning and general porterage experience and someone who has awareness and understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
Closing date: Wednesday 7th August, (interviews provisionally 21st August, tbc).
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, shift pattern.
