We are seeking an experienced Psychology Teacher to teach IB DP Diploma level (grades 11 & 12) in August 2025. Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Psychology to IB DP Diploma level (grades 11 & 12) students, following international curriculum standards.
  • Develop and deliver engaging lessons on psychological theories and human behaviour that foster inquiry and critical thinking.
  • Create differentiated learning plans to cater to diverse learning styles and student needs.
  • Assess and monitor student progress regularly, providing feedback to ensure academic growth.
  • Use technology and innovative teaching practices to make complex psychological concepts accessible.
  • Contribute to extra-curricular programs, such as workshops or clubs related to psychology or mental well-being.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create an interdisciplinary learning environment aligned with IB philosophy.
  • Mentor students in both academic and personal development, fostering a supportive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and development.
  • Ensure teaching aligns with school values and the IB framework, promoting inquiry-based learning and student-centred approaches.


The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A degree in Psychology or a related field, with a recognized teaching qualification.
  • 5 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or IB school, with a focus on IB DP Diploma level.
  • Strong knowledge of child and adolescent psychology, with the ability to convey complex concepts to younger students.
  • Experience with inquiry-based learning and familiarity with the IB DP Programme.
  • Proven ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking.
  • Proficiency in technology integration to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluency in English (basic knowledge of French is an advantage).
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues.
  • A passion for professional development and innovation in education.
  • A commitment to supporting students’ overall well-being through extra-curricular engagement.
