Principal – Dominic Pinto

Chapeltown Academy is a mixed, non-denominational, sixth-form free school located in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. The school offers A-level and AS-level courses to its students, achieving pass rates above the national average.

Chapeltown Academy was the answer for a city that lacked an excellent and focused academic institution for students wishing to pursue sixth-form studies. The quest began in 2012 and, through the hard work of teachers and parents, that journey came to fruition in 2014 with a school that is able to serve the needs of its community.

Values and vision

Chapeltown Academy places high value on students’ aspirations of attending the world’s finest tertiary institutions. It supports students to achieve their highest academic and personal goals by ensuring that they receive the best education from dedicated and passionate teachers.

The academy has a nurturing pastoral care system that allows students to develop both "hard skills" and "soft skills", which make them into a well-rounded candidate for further education as well as employment. It also offers a comprehensive array of extracurricular activities.
