Magna Learning Partnership is a group of academies in the Salisbury area, with provision from nursery age to post 16. Our goal is to ensure that every young person has access to an excellent educational experience, with a focus on making a difference in their lives on a daily basis. We aim to improve education provision across Salisbury and the surrounding villages to enhance the reputation of education in the area.  

 

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Secondary Headteacher at Magna Learning Partnership in Salisbury. The Headteacher will be responsible for the day-to-day educational leadership, curriculum development, effective communication, and pedagogy within the school setting.

 

The ideal candidate will be able to lead improvement in the quality of education with an acute understanding of the inclusion agenda and be skilled at implementing robust systems and structures to support excellent behaviour.

 

You will have a clear vision for education, a deep commitment to social justice and inclusion, a firm believer in the power of education to transform lives, and the potential to draw together a team that delivers it.

 

A confident leader, with the ability to motivate others and command respect from students and staff alike.

 

Across MLP we have both the ability and capacity to support a colleague in their first headship. The primary focus for the successful candidate will be to deliver an exciting and successful school improvement journey – colleagues with little experience in finance, HR and estates management will be supported by our experts within the central team.

Qualifications

  • Curriculum Development and Education skills
  • Educational Leadership and Communication abilities
  • Strong understanding of Pedagogy
  • Experience in school leadership roles
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire staff
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Relevant teaching qualifications and certifications
  • Master's degree in Education or related field preferred
