We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated School Administrator to join our team and play a key role in the smooth and efficient operation of our school.
Job Overview:
The School Administrator will be responsible for overseeing administrative functions, managing school systems, and supporting the leadership team in all aspects of school operations. This is a crucial role to ensure the effective day-to-day running of the school, with duties that include managing records, coordinating schedules, assisting with communications, and providing general administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day office operations, including answering calls, emails, and handling correspondence.
- Maintain student records, attendance, and other essential documentation in line with policies and regulations.
- Coordinate school events, meetings, and staff schedules.
- Liaise with parents, students, staff, and external agencies as necessary.
- Support the Headteacher and leadership team in the planning and implementation of school policies and initiatives.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials for internal and external meetings.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity and professionalism.
- Assist in managing the school's budget and procurement processes.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding regulations.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in school administration or a similar administrative role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other school management software.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of educational policies and regulations.
- High level of discretion and professionalism in dealing with sensitive information.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., administration, business management) are an advantage.
