School Administrator

We are seeking an enthusiastic committed professional to join us as a School Administrator

The successful candidate will:

• Provide an administrative function to the Senior Leadership Team
• Working closely with the Headteacher with a range of duties
• Welcoming students, staff and visitors of the school
• Communicating with central departments such as finance and HR
• Overseeing attendance data across the school
• Attending and minuting meetings with the Headteacher
• Working with the Designated Safeguarding Lead’s to promote safeguarding across the school

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Are proficient in Microsoft office 365
• Understand young people with SEND
• Have excellent communication skill
• Can promote safeguarding in a school
• Have a warm and welcoming personality
• Are exceptionally well organised
• Access to a vehicle is a requirement as this position is across two sites, there are 15.8 miles between both sites (Stoke Prior, Bromsgrove, B60 4AL and Kings Norton, Birmingham, B38 9EL)

At New Ways School and College:

New Ways is an Outstanding Independent SEN School with two sites. Our KS3 students attend our school site in South Birmingham (B38), and our KS4 KS5 students attend our college site in North Worcestershire (B60). New Ways caters for 11-19 year olds who have special education needs relating mainly to Autism.
