About the role

As the School Approval Manager, you will lead, manage, and coach a team to ensure only customers meeting Cambridge standards are approved to deliver our examinations and programmes. This means overseeing the approval processes for new customers, providing expert guidance and support to approximately 230 globally based Business Development colleagues. Additionally, you will:

  • manage multi-million-pound financial activities, including complex invoicing, dispute resolution, and quality assurance
  • ensure accurate data maintenance for customer facing systems, facilitating examination entries and results access
  • lead the design, testing, and implementation of new systems and customer models, driving innovation and problem-solving
  • collaborate with external and internal stakeholders, including regional teams, Finance, Operations, Legal, Education, Customer Support and Assessment, to ensure seamless operations.

About You

  • hold a degree or equivalent professional experience bringing proven management acumen and strong leadership skills
  • be familiar with Cambridge International products and services
  • have the ability to adapt, learn and develop expertise quickly
  • have sound global geographical knowledge
  • be highly proficient in MS Office (particularly Word, Outlook & Excel) and familiarity with financial data
  • be able to communicate effectively at all levels, verbally and in writing
  • role model a ‘growth mindset' for yourself and your team
  • be highly accurate with close attention to detail while under pressure.
