Parent Liaison Officer


The Village School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking, and committed

School-Parent Liaison Officer to join the team. The candidate will be responsible for

providing operational support in attendance, maintaining standards, and providing high

quality support to parents. They will take a lead on transitional arrangements for students

and be responsible for ensuring that the transition process is supported successfully from

start to end.

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic person who:

· has a passion for helping pupils thrive and meet their full potential.

· has a friendly manner and can communicate effectively with students, parent, staff and

external agencies.

· can work effectively as part of a team but can also work independently using their own

initiative.

· has experience of working in a similar specialist area.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share in this obligation. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced disclosure by the DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service), and all checks in relation to KCSIE (Keeping Children Safe in Education) September 2024 will be carried out.
