We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment, and we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Secondary Nurture Group Teacher to commence in August 2025.
Position Summary:
- Provide specialized support for a small group of students with diverse learning needs.
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment where students can thrive academically and emotionally.
- Work closely with the Head of Secondary and SENCO to implement tailored strategies and interventions.
- Create and deliver engaging lessons that are adapted to meet the specific needs of each student.
- Support students’ social and emotional development alongside their academic progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and provide pastoral care for a small group of students within the Secondary Nurture Group.
- Develop personalized learning plans and deliver differentiated instruction to help students reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with the SENCO and subject teachers to monitor and track student progress.
- Create a supportive and positive learning environment where students feel safe, valued, and motivated to succeed.
- Provide ongoing support to students, including mentoring, feedback, and regular communication with parents.
- Engage in professional development and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
Person Specification:
- A qualified teacher with experience working with students who have additional learning needs.
- Passionate about supporting students’ emotional and academic development.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to building positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the individual needs of students.
- Experience working in international schools or with ESL students is a plus.
- Flexible, patient, and proactive in developing tailored teaching strategies.
Remuneration Package:
- Initial two-year contract with a competitive salary and benefits.
- Group health insurance, and visa/work permit sponsorship.
