We have opportunities for motivated teaching assistants to work 1:1 supporting our pupil’s with SEN.
These are full-time posts and we are looking for talented members of staff who:
- have prior experience of working with children as a teaching assistant / learning support assistant, or an interest in starting a career in education;
- have experience working with SEN children – particularly autism and/or ADHD;
- are passionate about supporting the teaching and learning of young people;
- have the desire to ensure that all children secure the highest possible levels of progress and attainment;
- have the ability to work creatively and sensitively with children;
- are able to relate well to and communicate well with children and adults;
- have the imagination to develop opportunities for learning through play;
- are flexible and have the ability to use initiative;
- have a friendly and caring manner;
- bring enthusiasm and energy to the role;
Having very successfully extended our School’s excellent provision to teach to GCSE in September 2015, the School is thriving and we have waiting lists in most year groups. Our Early Years Department have won the ISA Early Years Award for Excellence and Innovation in Provision.
