The Principal and Trustees are looking to appoint a Senior Science Technician to join our team at The Sutton Academy. The successful candidate will work with the Science faculty to ensure students have access to high quality educational experiences. The role is an integral part of the academy offering students access to an exciting and engaging Science curriculum. The Senior Science Technician will take a lead on the processes and procedures for technical practical experiments within the faculty.

The Sutton Academy is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form situated in St Helens, Merseyside. It is part of a single-academy trust called The Sutton Academy Trust and sponsored by St Helens College. The school will provide 1550 places to secondary and sixth form students between the ages of 11-18, when fully subscribed.

The school opened as a new provision in September 2010.
