20 hours per week, term time 38 weeks plus an additional five days as directed. Grade 15 salary £24404 pa full time equivalent, actual salary £11,296 pa (£12.65 per hour).

Permanent contract to start as soon as possible.

The hours of employment are Monday to Friday from 14:30-18:30.

This post attracts membership to the Local Government Pension Scheme. In addition to your contribution to the pension scheme we also currently contribute 24.4% of your gross pay into the scheme.

We are looking to appoint a motivated, conscientious and enthusiastic person with excellent organisational skills to join our team. The post is an important one and would be a great opportunity for candidates of a variety of backgrounds such as those who have worked in school premises teams or someone who has worked in the construction or maintenance industry or in other environments undertaking a similar role. Crispin has a strong reputation, a sharp focus on learning and colleagues are really positive about the students they teach from the surrounding community. The successful candidate is responsible, through the Senior Services Site Supervisor, for the management and co-ordination of all site services including litter clearance, maintenance, repair, security and portering for the entire school. Full training in the safe use of all relevant equipment, will be provided. First aid at work training will also be provided. You will have a full programme of induction.

The post holder must become familiar with all relevant school policies and carry out all necessary procedures laid out in these policies in carrying out his/her professional duties. Particular note should be made of the provisions of the Health & Safety and Fire Policies, and the duties of all staff in respect of these.

In an emergency it may be necessary for the Services Supervisor to be contacted out of working hours and an expectation to attend to the emergency. Appropriate additional payments will be made for this work.
