This is a Permanent, Part Time vacancy.

Dean Close Foundation are looking to appoint a Shop Assistant for our onsite School Shop. This is a part time role, working 7.5 hours per week, during term time, 34 weeks per year.

Here at Dean Close, the school shop is a very important part of everyday life for both students and parents. We sell a wide range of goods, as well as school uniform and offer a bespoke fitting service to all new students. Other roles and responsibilities to include:

  • Work closely with the shop supervisor, to ensure daily tasks are completed
  • Day-today running of the school shop
  • Operating the till and accurately handle cash and credit cards.
  • End of day banking.
  • Process and sort second-hand donations.
  • New school uniform fittings
  • Unpack and price deliveries.
