Leeds East Academy – Everyone Exceptional

A mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, 11-16 academy, situated in Seacroft, Leeds in West Yorkshire.  There are 1025 students on the school roll.

Leeds East Academy is a diverse and vibrant school community which was judged as ‘Good’ during May 2019 across all areas of the Ofsted framework. In the Ofsted report inspectors commented; "Leaders' aspirations for the school are high. They are determined that all of their pupils, regardless of background, will achieve as highly as possible. Leaders have created an ambitious and optimistic culture across the school".

Our vision for the academy is simply, ‘everyone exceptional’ and we pride ourselves on ensuring that all students receive the very best pastoral care and academic support to achieve this. The secondary school aims to inspire confident young people with a ‘can do’ attitude and to celebrate the principles of high achievement, respect and the inclusion of all students.
