We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at GEMS FirstPoint School, Dubai for a January start
The successful candidate will be an experienced Speech and Language Therapist who is excited to join our world-class school and who is driven to provide educational support at an exceptional level. GEMS staff enjoy an outstanding school environment in which to deliver a dynamic and creative curriculum to motivated students.
You will be responsible for leading and managing various aspects the inclusion department within the allocated year groups. This will include, but not be limited to: Curriculum, Intervention, Pastoral Care, Professional Development, Assessment and Teaching and Learning.
The successful candidate will have:
- Solid and demonstratable experience within a similar role or in SEN teaching within a high performing department
- A Degree and Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent are essential such as Masters/ Bachelors in Speech and Language Sciences
- At least 5 years’ experience in education and at least 2 years’ experience working in Inclusion.
- The desire to provide outstanding teaching and learning
- An aspiration to work in a world-class school with real prospects for enhancing their career

GEMS FirstPoint School (FPS), opened in 2014, is positioned in the heart of The Villa community, which is an established, green, residential development located 20 minutes from the centre of Dubai. It is a Premium British Curriculum School, providing an excellent standard of education for over 1700 students from FS1 to Year 13, with exciting plans to add to its state-of-the-art educational facilities in the coming years.
