Leigh Academy Hugh Christie has an exciting opportunity to appoint a Student Services Manager to join their thriving team from September 2024. Our ideal candidate will bring with them a range of experience working with secondary-aged young adults, an ability to foster excellent working relationships with a variety of stakeholders and contacts both within the academy and external agencies, and will have a positive mind-set that means they will go over and above to support our students without a moment’s hesitation.  

The primary purpose of the post is to manage the social, moral and spiritual wellbeing of the students across the college communities and to liaise with parents, carers and outside agencies, as required. This is a rewarding position within the pastoral remit of our school, working alongside and supporting fellow Student Services Managers and the leadership team in their daily operational roles. 

The basis of the role is permanent, 37 hours per week, Term Time + 2 weeks inset, offering an actual salary of £21,396 to £23,481 per annum (£24,040 to £26,383 full-time equivalent) based on experience.
