We are looking for a Teacher in Education - 0.8 FTE

Here’s the standard bit: You’ll be responsible for planning, delivering and developing teaching/learning programmes using a flexible range of strategies and learning styles; taking responsibility for your quality of teaching and related curriculum development that meet learner needs, whilst assessing learners progress in College or on work experience and devise assessment processes against highly personalised progress targets.

What you’ll need: - Enthusiasm, resilience and be highly motivated coupled with Literacy and Numeracy Qualifications to at least Level 2, you must have a Level 3 qualification or relevant NVQ (or equivalent). Level 4 Teaching Qualification: Certificate in Education/ PGCE/Bachelor of Education or required to achieve Level 5 Diploma (DTLLS) or equivalent within 3 years of appointment and evidence of current Continuous Professional Development. Relevant assessment qualifications – IQA/A1/V1 are desirable.

Tameside College is a coeducational further education establishment. It is situated in the town of Ashton-under-Lyne, in Lancashire. It gives students a range of qualifications to choose from. This includes BTEC, Apprenticeships and degrees. The college also manages and owns Clarendon Sixth Form College, Camp Street, Ashton under Lyne, Lancashire OL6 6DF.
