At the Stockton Sixth Form College site, we are seeking to appoint an inspirational teacher who has a passion for teaching English up to KS4. You will be working in a dedicated faculty offering provision for secondary students (11-16) with Social, Emotional & Mental Health Needs (SEMH).

 

You will be able to motivate, enthuse and challenge students to produce the highest quality work, and effectively assess, record and track students.

 

Successful candidates must have a degree (or equivalent) in a related subject, along with classroon teaching experience gained either in a school or college setting. You must have demonstrable high levels of skill in leading teaching and learning. 

 

The ability to teach additional subjects, such as Health, Employability, Life Skills and PSHE, would be an advantage.

 

Applications will be welcomed from both NQTs and experienced teachers.

 

A 0.5 contract equates to 12 hours of contact time per week. This role could be combined with the Higher Level Teaching Assistant vacancy.
