Sirius Academy West are seeking to recruit for October 2024, a highly imaginative and enthusiastic Teacher of English to join our team. The right candidate will deliver high quality teaching and learning within the English department.

Teacher of English

Salary: Teachers Main Pay Scale M1 £30,000 - M6 £41,333

Contract: Full-time

Start date: ASAP/Jan 2025

The Role:

We are seeking to recruit a highly imaginative and enthusiastic Teacher of English to join our team at Sirius Academy West. The right candidate will deliver high quality teaching and learning within the English department.

You recognise that by sharing the greatest texts in history and sharpening pupils’ language skills, you can release their creativity and set their imaginations free. Whether you’re an ECT or experienced in teaching, we want someone who can bring out the best in every child and make all aspects of English engaging.

The successful candidate will be a consistently good or outstanding practitioner. You will be committed to raising the achievement of all learners by ensuring that teaching across the department is of the highest quality and is innovative, engaging and enjoyable whilst committed to driving standards to ensure whole school impact. The successful candidate will be working with a team of dedicated staff in a very motivating, forward-thinking environment.
