Are you an excellent classroom practitioner who is enthusiastic, innovative and an engaging teacher of mathematics who wants to join a dynamic and expanding team of staff?
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students, and support a designated curriculum area as appropriate.
- Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher.
- Facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
- Contribute to raising standards of student attainment.
- To share and support the Academy’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.
- Support and maintain collaborative relationships with staff and external professionals.
- The successful candidate must hold QTS or equivalent, and an honours degree in Mathematics or related subject.
We would welcome applications from teachers early in their careers including PGCE students through to experienced staff. The ideal candidate must be able to teach Mathematics at least at GCSE.
Our last Ofsted inspection judged the Academy to be good in all categories and for overall effectiveness, with some excellent feedback across all subjects and our Pastoral Care.

You will have/show:
- Practical skills and expertise as outlined in the Job description.
- A passion and vision for mathematics and their importance to students and their futures.
- A commitment and dedication for working with students in their personal, social and emotional needs as well as their academic development.
- Experience of delivering Mathematics at Key Stage 3 and GCSE Mathematics.
- Confidence in dealing with students across different age ranges particularly Key Stage 3 and 4.
- The ability to motivate and inspire students.
- The determination to support in raising student achievement within the classroom.
- The passion to enrich the lives of our students and contribute to the development of Cultural Capital to enhance the life opportunities for our students.
- A clear understanding of the importance of Safeguarding.
