Key Responsibilities Include:
- Planning and delivering dynamic MFL lessons that immerse students in the language and culture of target countries, catering to their individual learning styles and interests to ensure meaningful language acquisition.
- Creating an inclusive and multicultural classroom environment that celebrates diversity and promotes intercultural understanding, empowering students to become global citizens.
- Assessing student progress and proficiency in the target language regularly, using a variety of assessment methods to provide targeted feedback and support their language development.
- Collaborating with colleagues and language departments to integrate language learning across the curriculum, reinforcing language skills through cross-curricular activities and projects.
- Reflecting on your teaching practice and continuously seeking opportunities for professional growth and development in the field of language education, staying informed about current methodologies and trends.
- Engaging with parents and the wider community to promote language learning and cultural exchange, organising language-related events and activities to showcase students' achievements

Rawmarsh Community School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school without sixth form situated in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. It reopened as an academy in August 2014 and is supported by a multi-academy trust called Wickersley Partnership Trust, an exempt charity that supports nine primary and secondary schools and is regulated by the Secretary of State for Education.
A smaller than average secondary school, Rawmarsh provides 1,075 places for students between the ages of 11 and 16 when fully subscribed.
