The school offers single and combined sciences at iGCSE as well as Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Environmental Systems & Societies at IB Diploma. Previous experience at IB and IGCSE is desirable, as is the willingness/flexibility to teach across science subjects at Key stage 3 or 4.
For a candidate with the right level of experience there is the possibility of being made Head of Physics.

The British School, Rio de Janeiro (TBS) was founded in 1924 and is a co-educational, non-selective, non-denominational, international, non-profit school serving students from the ages of 2 to 18 years. The school has an enrolment of around 2160 students across 3 school sites in the city of Rio de Janeiro: Botafogo (Primary); Urca (Secondary); and Barra (Primary and Secondary).
