We are therefore seeking to recruit an inspirational, professional and highly skilled Teacher of Religious Studies. The successful candidate will be joining a successful and increasingly high achieving department where all lessons are taught by specialists. Interest in our 6th Form is at record levels and our A level subjects receive over 20 applicants for each place available.

As part of this role, you will be expected to teach Philosophy and Ethics at KS5. At KS4 all students study Edexcel GCSE Religious Studies.

Westminster City School is a successful 11-18 Christian non-denominational comprehensive academy for boys with a mixed sixth form. Ours is a vibrant learning community situated in the heart of central London with all the opportunities and advantages of an inner-city school. In March 2022, the school’s OFSTED inspection confirmed that the school remains a ‘Good’ school, but we are restless in our ambition to be ‘Outstanding’ in time for the school’s 150th anniversary in 2027.

You will deliver lessons to a consistently high standard.
