Camden School for Girls is a highly successful and oversubscribed inner London comprehensive secondary school with a rich historical heritage. The school was founded in 1871 by Frances Mary Buss, a pioneer for women’s education and the school has a long-standing history of ambition and excellence for all pupils regardless of background. We have a warm, welcoming and supportive ethos and aspire to excellence in all areas of the school provision. We are looking for a passionate scientist and educator, an exceptional practitioner committed to excellence in teaching and learning to join our strong team in the Science Department. The department is high performing and makes a very important contribution to the strong reputation of Camden School for Girls. The successful candidate for this post has an exciting and fulfilling time ahead of them. The department is experienced, highly knowledgeable and innovative, bringing an exceptional standard of science education to all pupils. We are looking for a reflective practitioner, someone committed to the highest standard of teaching and learning, someone with the highest expectation of all pupils, regardless of their background.

About The Camden School for Girls

Located in Camden, north-west London, The Camden School for Girls is a single-sex secondary school, offering places to girls aged 11-18. With around 1,000 students, the school has an extremely diverse student intake, reflective of the local community.

First established as a grammar school in 1871, The Camden School for Girls later became a comprehensive. Although the school is girls-only in Years 7-11, the substantial sixth form is co-educational and accepts a large number of its students from other schools in the local area.
