36 hours per week / term time only

Two vacancies - part time would be considered.

Required for November/December 2024 or ASAP

Level 2 - Point 3 - 6 £22,737.00 - £23,893.00 pro rata (Actual salary range will be £19,262.00 - £20,242.00)

Hours of work: Monday – Thursday 8.30am – 4.15pm and Friday 8.30am – 4.00pm (30 minute unpaid lunch break)

We wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support our Learning Support department. The successful applicant will work alongside the teaching staff in supporting students in lessons or on a one to one basis when students are withdrawn from lessons.

Redborne is a successful school on a spacious and pleasant campus near the market town of Ampthill in Bedfordshire. We achieve excellent examination results with about three-quarters of students typically gaining Maths and English at grades 9 – 4. ‘A’ Level results are also very good with over half at ‘A*’, ‘A’ or ‘B’ grades and an overall pass rate of 99.9%. About 80% of the Sixth Form go on to university and each year a number of students get into Oxbridge. The school is well regarded, oversubscribed and situated in a very pleasant area of Central Bedfordshire, within easy reach of London. The campus includes a state-of-the-art 400 seat theatre and Sixth Form social area.
