Holy Cross Catholic High School (full name, Holy Cross Catholic High School, A Sports and Science College) is a mixed, Roman Catholic secondary school for pupils aged 11-16. It is a voluntary aided comprehensive school for about 800 schools and is located in Chorley, Lancashire.
It was established by the Catholic Community of the Chorley Deanery, under the trusteeship of the Liverpool Archdiocese. The school was formerly two separate schools, one for boys and one for girls. The boys’ school was known as St Augustine’s, while the girls’ was called St Hilda’s.

Holy Cross stands for a rich Catholic tradition, based on the Gospels and the teachings of Jesus Christ. The school endeavours to serve the needs of the whole school community, and in particular acknowledges the needs of those who are disadvantaged.
