Term time only (34 weeks per year) plus INSET days

We are seeking an excellent Teaching Assistant to join our team where you will be predominantly based with the Year 1 class. We are an independent school with small classes and an established Teaching team, which gives a unique the opportunity to provide the best support in the classroom. There is the opportunity for additional hours after 16.15 where you can provide support to our after school club provision.    

Our children learn as much outside their classroom as they do in it. You will enjoy offering creative opportunities for activities outside the curriculum, promoting team-building and problem-solving skills, helping pupils to broaden friendship groups and their horizons.

A minimum Level 3 childcare qualification and previous experience of running intervention programmes with Key Stage Two pupils or previous experience of EYFS and early years practice is essential for this role.

Founded in 1929, St Gabriel’s is a thriving co-educational independent day school for children aged 6 months to 18 years.
