Teaching Assistants

We are looking to recruit two part-time Teaching Assistants to join our existing team of professionals.

Part-time posts (24 hours per week over 4 days)

Fixed Term contracts ending 31st August 2025

Core hours are 8.30am - 3pm per day, Term Time only, 39 weeks per year.

NJC Grade D SCP 4-6 FTE £23,114 - £23,893 per annum

£12,824 - £13,256 Pro-rata for 24 hours per week

Flexible hours (to start earlier or finish later) will be considered

The successful candidates will demonstrate:

·        an ability to work with a range of young people with SEND, including physical impairment

·        patience, sensitivity and an understanding of child development and learning

·        a strong team working ethos

·        good numeracy, literacy and ICT skills

·        an ability to work in a SEN role to support learning in the classroom and ensure individuals make progress

·        effective communication with young people and teachers
