An exciting opportunity has arisen at Capel Manor College and we are now seeking to appoint a Hybrid Technology Support Technician.

The post holder will assist with daily operations, deliver prompt and effective technical support and help manage system issues, ensuring that technical issues or requests are resolved swiftly and within designated service level agreements (SLAs), minimizing disruptions to technology services. They will support helpdesk tickets, and ensure data integrity across our systems. The post holder will play a critical role in maintaining the smooth operation of campus technology systems.

The ideal candidate would have a strong passion for technology and a keen interest in IT support. They will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and an organised approach to tasks and documentation. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of DNS and DHCP. They will hold the ability to work effectively within a team and coordinate with various departments is essential, as is an ability to work flexibly with job tasks and working hours, work under little supervision and use initiative and own judgement in making decisions.
