Tutor Assessor- Multi-Trades

Oldham College is seeking a passionate and experienced Tutor Assessor - Multi-Trades to join our Construction and Work-Based Learning team on a fixed term basis.

In this role, you will support apprentices and learners in achieving their learning goals, offering a high standard of teaching, assessment, and feedback. You will also engage with employers, designing and delivering a curriculum that meets industry needs.

With a key focus on Carpentry, Joinery and Painting and Decorating, we are looking for a multi-skilled Tutor Assessor who can support our learners. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and innovative lessons to a caseload of work-based learners.
• Support apprentices in achieving their NVQ qualifications.
• Develop and implement creative teaching materials and resources.
• Conduct regular learner progress reviews, ensuring timely reporting and feedback.
• Carry out health and safety visits to employer premises and promote safe practices in the workplace.

What We're Looking For:

• A Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in a relevant trade.
• A Recognised Teaching Qualification or willingness to obtain within two years.
• Assessor’s Awards, or a commitment to achieving this within 12 months.
• Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in a relevant occupational area.
