The Role

The Vice-Principal for Innovation, Technology, and Research will provide visionary leadership in advancing the school’s digital strategy, focusing on pedagogical innovation, staff digital literacy, integration of emerging technologies (including AI and machine learning), professional development of teachers, research partnerships, and meeting the needs of individual students, including Students of Determination and those with identified Gifts and Talents. This role is pivotal in driving the school’s research agenda, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, academic excellence, and inclusivity.

Successful candidates will need to:

• Embody and role model our core values of integrity, empathy and fortitude in everything they do
• Hold a Master’s degree in Information Technology, Educational Technology, or related field (Essential)
• Hold a BEd or Bachelors degree with PGCE / PGDE or equivalent
• Certifications in emerging technologies such as AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science (Desirable). Online certifications/courses accepted e.g. Google, Microsoft, Coursera, etc. Education related is desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of global trends, emerging technologies, educational technologies and their application to K-12 settings.
• Proven track record in managing complex IT projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder needs.
