Job overview
We are looking for a Visiting Music Teacher (VMT) able to teach piano to our Keys Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils, to start with us at the earliest opportunity.
This role will be on a self-employment basis, with the days required currently being Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.
The successful candidate is expected to provide pupils with a rounded musical education, with a track record of leading pupils to achieve outstanding results, in terms of both general progress, solo and ensemble performances. We are looking for a teacher who can inspire young musicians to nurture and grow their interest and skills in music.
The successful candidate will be a role model for the pupils in the class and the school and be caring and compassionate and prepared to go the extra mile.
Kew College Prep is a thriving stand-alone, non-selective, co-educational school for children from Nursery to Year six. Located in the heart of Kew, Southwest London, we are a small, supportive, and vibrant school with a community feel. The school is also a registered charity operating on a not-for-profit basis.
