Welfare Assistant/Parent Support Advisor
Permanent Position
Hours: 15 hours per week x 39 weeks per annum
9.30am-2.30pm Wednesday to Friday
Salary: (Scale 4)
We are looking for an enthusiastic person whose purpose is to take responsibility for:
- The welfare of pupils eg. Providing first aid, supporting pupils with medical needs such as epilepsy, diabetes, asthma, illness, preparing care plans
- Supporting parents with individual needs and co-ordinating training, coffee mornings and meetings for parents.
- Admin cover in school office
They will follow safeguarding guidelines and Child Protection policy / procedures and maintain confidentiality.
Applicants must have a command of spoken English that is sufficient to effectively carry out the duties of the role.
