<p>6 question mats / boards each with 25 questions for AQA GCSE Sociology.</p> <p>The focuses of the mats / boards are:</p> <ol> <li>Sociological Approach &amp; Research Methods</li> <li>Social Structures, Processes and Issues</li> <li>The Sociology of Families</li> <li>The Sociology of Education</li> <li>Crime and Deviance</li> <li>Social Stratification.</li> </ol> <p>Same material in two formats: PowerPoint and Word.</p> <p>These can be used as:<br /> * Do Now / starter tasks across the course. For example:<br /> * picking a letter linked to the date such as M for Monday<br /> * picking a letter linked to the pupils’ / teacher’s name<br /> * Revision lessons / homework / independent practice.</p> <p>To use these as a ‘revise your own name’ task, ask pupils to:</p> <ol> <li>Pick the 1st 7 (or another number) unique letters of their name.</li> <li>Ignore any repeated letters. For example, Mohammad Abdul would be answering the tasks for letters M, O, H, A, M, D and B.</li> <li>Answer the questions.</li> </ol> <p>The most commonly used vowels have the longer 12 mark questions. The rest are simple 3-4 mark questions.</p> <p>Many of the questions are based on the ‘check your understanding’ tasks from the Collins text book.</p>
