This is my take on The Traitors for use in Modern Languages. It is currently in French, but easy to adapt. Good for retrieval practice of key sentences based on a topic pupils have been studying, so can work for different stages and year groups. I have written brief notes in the slides as well for guidance and potential differentiation. My pupils are LOVING it!

Made initially for Year 5 and 6 at the end of lessons on averages to revise and practise. I used different level worksheets alongside this as main lesson activity. Includes Smart Notebook presentation and starter activity.

Structure Strips create a margin to be glued onto lined paper with ideas for each bullet point. The work pupils produce using them is more succinct and ensures explanation of and analysis of their ideas, avoiding ‘rambling’ or listing. I have created something based on a written task for each of the Nat.5/Higher/Advanced Higher SQA qualifications.

Google Sheets document I created to save me time when report writing. It basically collates comments from different comment banks. We use the first person for our reports, though it could be adapted for 3rd person. The first tab is the master and I have put brief instructions on it, plus the 2nd tab also has an example. I have left tabs for the subjects that I teach, in case you wanted to use the same comment bank. Several colleagues and myself found this a real time saver this year! Once you have opened the Google file, use file - make a copy to have your own copy and edit for yourself.
