Was Hitler really to blame for World War Two?
<p>2 hour lesson and a homework on the causes of WW2. Lesson starts with a recap of the Treaty of Versailles into a decision making exercise on appeasement. Bit of exploration of what appeasement was and why the allies used it then a summative essay explaining who was to blame(can easily be amended into a 16 mark question). 4 Mark question at the end can be used for homework.</p>
WW2 Overview
<p>Starts off with a recap of the steps to war then moves onto a card sort of main events (included at the end of the PPt) this can be used to discuss turning points etc. Then research on some main points and a summative task relating to the turning point of the war.</p>
World War One Overview Lesson
<p>Overview of WW1 designed for a low ability group. Starter should serve to identify questions to be addressed throughout the lesson. Then students work in groups to make presentations using the resources provided.</p>
