In the context of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP), there are specific text types that students are expected to engage with and produce, particularly in language acquisition courses such as French. I have created a bank of some common text types (9 formats) for both MYP and DP French with their conventions and with examples. A second part is currently under contruction.
