<p>The pre-school acknowledges that there is always a possibility that a member of its staff may face a Child Protection allegation, for any number of reasons. It is also acknowledged that this can result in a delicate, uncomfortable and often difficult situation where the allegations have been made against a colleague, and this Policy sets out the procedures to be followed to ensure that Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures are followed in an objective, professional and fair manner. The over-riding priority in such cases will be the safeguarding and protection of the child’s welfare.</p> <p>Use this as a template or to gain ideas to make your own policy.</p>

The principles guiding management of behaviour exist within the programme for supporting personal, social and emotional development.</p>

Would also be useful for when on school trips.</p> <p>It is useful to put in your emergency grab bag in case you have multiple casualties who all need vital information for when the emergency services arrive.</p>

<p>A policy to describe the learning and development intentions for your preschool or nursery.</p> <p>Statement of Intent<br /> We strongly believe in a high quality early years emergent curriculum based on the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage(2021). We will provide children resources for them to develop their own learning along with adult and child initiated activities which children will find stimulating and challenging, where enjoyment and fun are linked with discovery and learning without discrimination, regardless of gender, ethnicity, culture religion, language or special/additional needs. British values are respected and included in our learning and development.</p>

<p>We developed this form for when we are away from preschool on trips, doing Forest School and we keep it in our emergency grab bag as well as our first aid kit.<br /> We use it to monitor any casualty we might need to keep a close eye on or if we are waiting for an ambulance. We also have it in case we ever have a few incidents so we don’t confuse them.</p> <p>It is a useful document to pass onto the ambulance driver, hospital or parent to ensure they have the correct information.</p> <p>Thankfully we have never had to use it (I am touching wood) but it’s a ‘peace of mind’ document.</p>

We always have a hard copy policies file in the office incase technology fails (especially on the Ofsted inspection day).</p> <p>Make sure you check your own Local Authorities policy on hours/days before contacting them.
