<p>This series of powerpoints will introduce students to a range of key concepts and terms before they begin their study of CPS’s.</p>

<p>A revision activity for the context of Of Mice and Men. Originally created for Edexcel IGCSE but could be easily adapted for other exam boards.<br />
It includes a task with guided questions for each area of context, an example of how context should be embedded, and a task for students to practice embedding context.</p>
<p>A detailed lesson covering scene 5 of Tennessee William’s ‘A Streetcar Named Desire’. This includes thorough exploration of key quotations and a evaluation question about Blanche’s fate.</p>
<p>This opening lesson aimed at A-Level introduces the main context for Tennessee William’s play <em>A Streetcar Named Desire</em>. It allows opportunities for independent research as well as shared discussion as a class. Full Powerpoint and Word doc included for the students to make notes on the contextual information. From experience of teaching this content, it takes up to 3 average length lessons to complete in detail.</p>

<p>This comprehensive set of resources allows for a detailed study of Act Two of William Shakespeare’s ‘Othello’. Depending on the pace of teaching, this will take approximately 3 - 4 lessons to complete. It is planned with the Edexcel A Level spec in mind but can easily be adapted for other exam boards.</p>
<p>Tasks include close textual analysis of Iago’s soliloquy and other key quotations, thematic exploration and establishing an understanding of plot.</p>

<p>A lesson exploring how tension is created in chapter three of Of Mice and Men. There is an extract focused task where students are invited to analyse specific language and structural choices.</p>
<p>A lesson on power dynamics in chapter three of Of Mice and Men. This was an observation lesson that was rated outstanding. Fully resourced taking students through a range of tasks to understand the theme of power and how this impacts relationships on the ranch.</p>
<p>A student-led lesson exploring secondary characters in Of Mice and Men - students work in small groups to analyse a secondary character before feeding back to the rest of the class.</p>
