This resource is designed to have the cars cut out and the children match the number of dots on the car with the correct parking space. This one however, the colours of the spaces don't correlate with the colours of the cars.
The coloured cars match the coloured parking spaces. This is aimed to help children identify colours and numerals. The idea is that the cars are cut out (and potentially laminated) and the child finds the parking space that matches. There are other versions at varying levels of difficulty.
The idea of this is to go home with the children when they start, either nursery/ pre-school, or reception. The aim is that the child fills it in themselves and the parent writes on a separate piece of paper what the child has written. This gives the setting an opportunity to asses their writing/mark making abilities but also to give the child an opportunity to do a piece of work which is their own.
