Students will create a persuasive speech about the first Aeronauts, a travel blog based around Phileas Fogg, a speech from William Robinson Clark 9) the first black RAF pilot) and a letter in a bottle from Amelia Earhart. All lessons have video clips or extracts, writing scaffolds, a range of activities and guided peer assessment.</p>
<p>A Paper 2 question paper based around the famous Prancer the dog’s adoption advert. The second source is an online information page about Chihuahua’s.</p>
<p>6 lessons on non-fiction creative writing based around The Titanic. Students will create an advert, an informative article, a letter of complaint, a newspaper article about the disaster and a letter from a survivor. This resource is adapted from a variety of other resources and contains starter tasks, lead up tasks, final tasks and guided peer assessment. All lessons are fully resourced and include timings, as well as a consolidation task for the end of the unit.</p>
