<p>This is a wee task to help students get familiar with the process of finding the lowest common multiple and highest common factor between two numbers using prime decomposition.</p> <p>I did not know Venn diagrams had to be circles so I have uploaded one with circles and one with rectangles. I just prefer rectangles as for me, they are easier to draw :)</p>

<p>This is a task to help get started finding the Perimeter and Area of Compound Shapes.</p> <p>The goal I made here is to help pupils use logic to help find the missing values and show the steps involved to split the shapes into 2 parts and then select the correct values in order to find the area.</p>

<p>This is a task to help students become comfortable using two methods of finding the area of a triangle. I have intended to give them the opportunity to decide their preferred way on how they can work backwards to find a missing side in a triangle given the area.</p> <p>It is a short task and I have deliberately used simple numbers to keep the numeracy work low and focus more on the mathematical process.</p> <p>For extension I suggest getting student to make as many different triangles as possible for the last question.</p> <p>To be really mean try putting 360cm^2 on the board :)</p>

<p>I have noticed in class I have said these lots of times so thought I would put it up on the wall.
