This is a very colourful and versatile card game which can be used over a period of time. It can be used as a way of reinforcing the future tense alone or a way of reinforcing the past tense alone … or both for high flyers <br /> <br /> There should be 5 piles of cards on the table: <br /> • one set of personal pronouns,<br /> • one set of time phrases,<br /> • one set of AVOIR &amp; ÊTRE conjugated in the present tense,<br /> • one set of verbs conjugated in the future tense<br /> • one set of verbs past participles.<br /> <br /> Each child picks a personal pronoun and then a time phrase. Depending on the time phrase, the pupil will either pick:<br /> • one card from the “future” pile OR <br /> • one card from “avoir” &amp; “être” pile + one card from the past participle pile.
