A lesson on the powers they used to fuel their machinery in the industrial revolution. Students get into fives and do a give me five activity with the hand out.
Students look at the benefits of British Empire and the resources they was getting from different colonies. They fill in a graph on the colonies. Students then create a sales pitch trying to sell resources to Britain.
