<p>Artists used: David Hockney, L.S. Lowry, Monet.<br />
Covering: background, middle ground, foreground, one-point perspectives, painting etc.</p>
<p>We produced an oil pastel response to David Hockney, a pencil drawn response drawn from life on the field in the style of Lowry, and a painting for Monet whereby students were led through layering of paint.</p>
<p>Any outcomes could be used!</p>
<p>Set as an Independent Learning Task, broken down into 3 parts.</p>
<p>Part one:<br />
Students are to RESEARCH Van Gogh’s painting of shoes and produce a research page in response.</p>
<p>Part two:<br />
Students find shoes and photograph them</p>
<p>Part three:<br />
Students produce an outcome in response to their photograph.</p>
<p>This is a project I ran with year 9, but it could be done with any class!</p>
