<p>GCSE German lesson comparing primary and secondary school including lots of speaking practice, key verbs in past and present, past and present time phrases with inversion and translation into English. Depending on lesson length this may well be two lessons!</p>
<p>Sentence builder to say what your school rules are. Uses the verbs müssen and dürfen with man and wir. Ideal for GCSE German. Lots of repetition to really learn the phrases.</p>
<p>Includes two versions - one using both nicht and kein to make negatives and one just with nicht if you prefer to remove the challenge of kein. On both version the challenge increases as you work through by removing more and more words. PPT provided so you can choose which bits you want to use.</p>
<p>Can be used with mini whiteboards to translate sentences from and into either language. Works well to do verbal tennis where students take it in turns to say sentences. They have to do more and more from memory as you move through slides.</p>
<p>A fun revision escape room activity to practise key language from the school unit - school rules, facilities in school, opinions, comparing primary and secondary school, looking forward to etc.</p>
<p>Students must solve six revision tasks (word snake, cryptogram, fallen tiles, fallen phrase, translation into English and crossword). Once solved, they will take specific letters from each puzzle answer, rearrange them to make the final sentence which allows them to escape from the room.</p>
<p>The whole activity is designed to take an hour. If you have lower ability students or lessons shorter than an hour, you might need to cut a task and just give them the letters from that task.</p>
<p>You could also just use each task individually as part of a normal lesson.</p>
